Yoga Nidra
Yogic Sleep
Yoga Nidra translates to “Yogic Sleep”. Far more than restful sleep, Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between those of wakefulness and deep sleep. The practice of Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice, done in complete relaxation, that supports our sustained presence within Yoga Nidra consciousness. In this mindstate we are supported, through specific mental and visualization practices crafted for each session, in finding increased freedom from restrictive patterns of the emotions, mind and body and of arriving at a place of connection to our true nature.

It is in this way that Yoga Nidra is a profound tool of transformation and liberation. Through practice in the Yoga Nidra mindstate we have the potential to release physical patterns of restriction, held habits, and beliefs from the places where they are held: beneath our waking awareness. The experience of connection to our already healed, already One, true nature, can support us in the necessary work of individual and collective healing.
